Founder and Managing Director, 1936–2011
Founded Fluid Controls in 1974 after a PhD in mechanical engineering at Northwestern University, and built the in-house R&D effort that gave Indian industry an alternative to the global brands. The company he started now exports to Europe, the USA, Russia, Africa and South-East Asia, and runs a joint-venture plant in Dammam, Saudi Arabia.

An electrical engineer who started at Tata Motors in 1989 and went on to found Accurate Industrial Controls, Accolade Electronics, A Star Power Solutions and Accurate Savan Defence in Pune, as well as a joint venture with Adande Refrigeration of the UK. He acquired Fluid Controls in 2023 and, as its key investor, sets the group's strategic direction.
