DISASTER RELIEF

We live in a world where we have to expect the unexpected and be prepared at all the time. At Fluid Controls we aim to extend our help to reduce the pain and suffering experienced by individuals at times of natural disasters. Our initiatives are focused on building capacities of local communities to respond to disasters and on developing expertise and resources to respond to disaster.

Since March 2020, the COVID-19 pandemic has caused tremendous hardship and suffering. Fluid Controls has actively engaged with NGO’s to support daily essentials for migrants and low-income communities as well as support for health-based requirements in rural areas.

  • Mann Deshi Foundation

    Ventilators for Satara District

    Fluid Controls supported Mann Deshi Foundation in May 2021 to secure 6 ventilators for three dedicated COVID-public hospitals in Karad, Phaltan and Satara in Maharashtra that the Mann Deshi Foundation is working closely with. www.manndeshifoundation.org

  • Under The Mango Tree

    Kits for ASHA Workers & Oxygen Concentrators

    Fluid Controls supported Under the Mango Tree (UTMT) Society in May 2021 to provide 240 Covid Care Kits to Accredited Social Health Activist (ASHA) that includes N95 Masks, Face Shields, Oximeters, Non-contact Thermometers to enable these frontline health workers to battle with the COVID-19 pandemic in villages in Gujarat, Maharashtra and MP.  We have also supported UTMT for the purchase of oxygen concentrators for Government-run COVID care centers in Palghar district. https://www.utmtsociety.org/

    Ration Kits for Migrants & Low-Income Communities

    Fluid Controls supported the OSCAR Foundation to help and feed the families of migrant workers and provide food and nutrition packets to these families during the nationwide lockdown period in 2020. https://www.oscar-foundation.org/

  • Unltd India

    Distribution of Food & Hygiene Essentials in Athani Village Cluster

    During the onset of COVID-19 Pandemic and nationwide lockdown Fluid Controls has supported Desi Hangover, a social organization supported by UnLtd India to provide food and hygiene essentials to 100 artisan families IN Athani Village cluster (Belgaum District, Karnataka). https://unltdindia.org/

  • Masoom

    Essential Supplies to Night School Students

    During the lockdown in 2020, the night school students supported by Masoom as most of them are daily wage workers or work in the unorganized sector. Fluid Controls supported Masoom, which works in 85-night schools across Mumbai, Pune, Ahmednagar and Nagpur, to provide ration and essential supplies to these students. https://masoomeducation.org/

    Ration and Hygiene Essentials to Migrants

    Fluid Controls supported Goonj in providing dry ration (rice, atta, salt, oil, spices, pulses) + hygiene essentials and toiletries to needy and migrant people across India during the COVID-19 total lockdown in the country in 2020. https://goonj.org/
