Ball Valves

Two-, three- and four-way, in screwed, ferrule and flanged ends.

Fluid Controls ball valves cover two-way, three-way and four-way patterns across thirteen products. Every end connection the range supports is available: screwed BSP and NPT, double-ferrule and single-ferrule compression tube ends, and flanged bodies to SAE ISO 6162 and CETOP RP 63 H / AFNOR 48-054 / ISO 6164.

Pressure classes run from PN 200 through PN 400 on the screwed two-way bodies, with the single-ferrule range split into an L series rated PN 250 and an S series rated PN 400. The flanged valves are supplied to Code 61 and Code 62 — 3000 psi and 6000 psi on the SAE pattern, 250 and 400 kg/cm² on the CETOP. Hydrostatic body testing is carried out at 300 to 630 kg/cm² depending on the series, with seat testing at 200 to 420 kg/cm² and a pneumatic seat test at 40 kg/cm².

Bodies are available in A 105 carbon steel, A 479 SS304 and SS316, A 182 Gr F 316 stainless, Monel and Hastelloy; the manifold-mounted valve is carbon steel with stainless internals, Parkerized and oiled. Ball seals are offered in RPTFE, Delrin and PEEK, and gland seals in Buna-N and Viton, so seat rating can be traded against temperature: PEEK seats raise the seat test to 620 kg/cm² where the duty needs it.

The switching-service valves are the ones specified for sampling and changeover work. A 90° stem rotation gives quick, low-torque on-off switching on the two-way and four-way patterns, while the three-way bottom-inlet valves use 180° rotation and suit mixing applications. All are available for panel mounting, with the drill size and maximum panel thickness given per size in the ordering tables. Tube sizes run 3 mm to 42 mm and 1/8 in to 2 in depending on the pattern, and the manifold-mounted valve is sized DN6 to DN50 for direct fitment in oil hydraulics and lubrication systems.
