Hose assemblies are qualified by a family of documents rather than by one, and which document applies usually depends on where the assembly is going rather than on what it is. Our accredited scope carries ISO 1402 for hydrostatic proof and burst, EN 856 and ISO 6803 for impulse, SAE J517 for proof, burst and impulse, SAE J343 for pneumatic pressure, and AS 603 for impulse testing of hydraulic hose, tubing and fitting assemblies. If your specification names one of those, the test is in scope as written.

Accredited clauses
| Clause | Test | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 8.1, 7.2.2 | Proof pressure | Held above the working pressure without leak or permanent change, as the clause defines it. |
| 8.3, 7.2.2 | Hydrostatic burst | Raised to failure, giving the margin over the rating rather than a confirmation of it. |
What we can show
Accredited scope, certificate TC-16263
ISO 1402, EN 856, ISO 6803, SAE J517, SAE J343 and AS 603 all appear as separate accredited entries.
Hose assembly is a service too
Fluid Controls publishes a hose assembly services catalogue; assembly and testing are on the same site.
