A hose assembly that passes proof and burst has shown it can hold pressure once. In service it is pressurised thousands of times a day, and that is how most of them fail: the fitting works loose from the hose, or the reinforcement fatigues under the ferrule. ISO 6803 is the impulse test that reproduces this without flexing the hose. Pressure cycled between a lower and a peak value, at a set rate and fluid temperature, for a stated number of cycles or until the assembly fails. Our accredited scope carries the test at clause 8, listed beside EN 856 and SAE J517 impulse, so an assembly is qualified to whichever of them its specification names.

What we can show
Accredited scope, certificate TC-16263
Impulse pressure test to ISO 6803 clause 8 is its own entry under sub-assembly, ancillaries and accessories, beside EN 856 clause 6.3.
Assembled and impulse-tested on one site
Fluid Controls publishes a hose assembly services catalogue; the assemblies are made and impulse-tested at the same laboratory that holds the accreditation.
Products qualified to ISO 6803
No catalogue model lists ISO 6803 among its approvals yet. The certificates that cite it are in the certificates library.
