Pre-Piped Brake Assemblies (Rail)
Brake piping built as modular assemblies at our works, so less of it is formed and fitted under the vehicle and turnaround on the line is faster.
Pre-piped assemblies were introduced to make brake piping installation faster. Working from the builder's brake piping layout, Fluid Controls supplies engineered tube and hose assemblies: bent or cut-length tube and hose with a connector on each end, designed and validated in house, then manufactured, assembled and tested at our facility. What is left on the underframe is mounting and connecting rather than forming, with on-site fitment or supervision available if required.

Tube
5-axis CNC bending with every bend CMM-checked, and end connectors swaged in house.
Hose
Cut, skived and crimped in house, and tested before despatch.
On the vehicle
On-site fitment of the sub-assemblies, or site supervision, by the team that installs brake piping on the line.
