Onsite Installation

On-site and off-site installation of brake piping for rail builders and operators: tube formation, connector fitment and mounting, with pre-piped assemblies for faster turnaround.

Installed on site
1,500+
Locomotives, coaches and metro cars whose brake piping we installed.
MEMU cars certified complete
48
Air-brake piping and brake-system installation, signed off by the builder on two completion certificates.
Driving motor and trailer cars
12 + 36
Twelve driving motor cars and thirty-six trailer cars, each listed by coach number with its own inspection clearance date.

Teams of trained resident engineers and fitters manage product inventory, tube formation, swaging and crimping, and fitment at the customer's site, with complete supervision until testing and works completion. Where a customer prefers to fit the sub-assemblies with their own team, Fluid Controls provides site supervision instead.

What we can show

  • Completion certified by the builder

Two completion certificates for air-brake piping and brake-system installation on MEMU cars — RFF/756/AB-COMPCERT/MEMU/2020-21/057 of 4 December 2020 and RFF/756/AB-COMPCERT/MEMU/2021-22/043 of 27 July 2021 — each certifying the work complete to the scope of the purchase order.

  • Every car cleared on its own date

The two annexures list all 48 cars by type and coach number, each with the date work started and the date the builder's inspection cleared it — February 2020 to July 2021.
