Chemical composition by spectrometry

Full elemental analysis by optical emission spectrometry, which is what turns a claimed grade into a measured one.

Rockwell hardness

Bulk hardness on the indentation scale most material specifications are written in, for stock and for finished bodies.
Micro Vickers hardness

Surface and near-surface hardness at low load, which is the only way to characterise a case, a weld heat-affected zone or a thin section.
Plating thickness
Coating measured from 2 to 25 microns, because a plating class is a thickness claim before it is a corrosion claim.
Viscosity
Kinematic viscosity of the fluid a connection is qualified for, by the standard capillary method.
Water absorption
Uptake by mass for non-metallic components, where a seal or a body that swells is a dimensional problem rather than a chemical one.
High voltage test
Dielectric withstand on the high-voltage machine, for insulating components and for assemblies that have to isolate as well as seal.

What we can show
Spectro and Oxy-Clean under one roof
Chemical analysis and the oxygen-cleaning facility are both in house, so a part destined for oxygen service can be cleaned and have its material verified without leaving the site.
