Isolation Globe Valves For Instruments, Female Ends
A general purpose isolation valve for straight shut-off of liquid, gas or vapour service, designed against Engineers India Ltd. specification 6-52-69 Rev.1 and specified as a root valve on instrument impulse lines.
Three pressure classes are offered — 3000#, 6000# and 9000# — and the test regime steps with them: hydrostatic body at 420, 620 and 950 kg/cm², hydrostatic seat at 260, 413 and 630 kg/cm², and pneumatic seat at 40, 60 and 90 kg/cm². Gland packing is PTFE as standard, with Graphoil for temperatures above 180 °C.
Bodies are available in A 105 carbon steel, A 479 SS304, A 479 SS316, A182 Gr F 316 stainless, Monel and Hastelloy; carbon steel is zinc plated and dichromated and stainless is left natural. Female ends are supplied with NPT as standard, and the valve is also available with BSP and BSP taper pipe threads.
