Compact non return valve with a BSP pipe end and a single ferrule tube end, sealing on a 90° cone, in an L series rated PN 250 and an S series rated PN 400.

Compact Non Return Valve Pipe / Single Ferrule Tube Ends

The CVV series seals with a 90° cone against a packing washer of synthetic material. The valve lift stops, so the outlet is free, shock-absorbing and muffled in operation, and there is no reduction of cross section — maximum flow rate is not more than 4 to 5 m/sec.

One end is a BSP pipe thread and the other a single ferrule tube end. The L series covers 6 mm to 42 mm tube at PN 250 with BSP threads from 1/8" to 1.1/2"; the S series covers 6 mm to 38 mm at PN 400. Cracking pressure is 0.3 to 0.5 kg/cm² as standard, with special cracking pressures available. Seals are BUNA-N or Viton, bodies A 105 or IS 2062, zinc plated and dichromated.

Tube ends are made to DIN 2353, BS 4368 and IS 8805 for metric sizes, and the valve is also available in inch OD tube to BS 3601 / 3602 / 3005 and in nominal bore pipe to BS 1387-1957 and ANSI B36.10 / B36.19. O-ring weld nipple ends are offered in the PN 400 series with a W prefix on the part number.
