ISO 14540 High Pressure Screw Coupling – Ball Type
The high pressure end of the quick release range: a ball-type screw coupling to ISO 14540, rated 720 bar (10400 psi). That is more than double the ISO 7241-A series and around a third again above the flat face screw coupling.
It is supplied in two sizes only — 1/4" and 3/8" — and with NPT threads only. No BSP or metric option is offered on this series.
The connector seals and locks the joint to contain internal pressure and to resist any tensile force tending to pull it apart, and is disconnected without tools by disengaging the locking mechanism and separating the parts.
