Metallic, PA & Braided Hoses

Metallic, PA and braided hoses take over where rubber will not serve: the fluid is too hot, too aggressive, or the line has to stay light and flexible. The range moves to metal, polyamide and PTFE.

Corrugated metallic hose to ISO 10380 is an annular corrugated flexible metal hose in AISI 304, AISI 321 and AISI 316L, supplied braided or unbraided in 4 to 100 mm. It suits steam, air and high temperature fluids from -68°C to 200°C, and abrasive environments; braiding raises the working pressure from 1–26 bar to 19–153 bar. PA hose to DIN 73378 and DIN 74324 is a lightweight polyamide tube for pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel and oil installations, lubrication and chemicals, in 1.5 to 14 mm and in seven colours.

PTFE hose uses a sintered polytetrafluoroethylene core, reinforced with single or double braiding of 304 series stainless steel wire where pressure demands it. It carries excellent chemical resistance, non-contamination properties and a low coefficient of friction, and holds all fluids across -54°C to 260°C. Every PTFE and metal braided hose is available with electrical and non-electrical conductive cores and is built to internal Fluid Controls standards.
