24° Cone Hose Connector

A hose connector terminating pumps, cylinders and other hydraulic equipment. It is built to ISO 8434-1, DIN 2353, with the hose connector to ISO 12151-1.

Commonly used materials are stainless steel, carbon steel and brass; Carbon steel connectors are coated with zinc or zinc-nickel to resist corrosion and environmental conditions. Connectors are designed to national and international standards and to customer specification, and customisation for specific application requirements is available.

The connector is crimped onto the hose on a FINN Power electronic hose crimping machine, after the hose end has been cut to length and deburred on an automated skiving machine; on metallic hose it is welded or brazed instead. Connectors are tested to customer requirement — salt spray, plating, cyclic opening and closing, and leakage — and every finished assembly is leak tested on a Maximator hose test bench before despatch.
