Hoses & Hose Connectors
JIS Cone Hose Connector
A hose connector terminating in a JIS cone connection at 30°, 37°, 45° or 60°, for joining hoses and flexible tubing to valves, pumps, cylinders and other hydraulic equipment. It is built to JIS B2351, JIS B8363, with the hose connector itself to internal Fluid Controls standards.
Commonly used materials are stainless steel, carbon steel and brass; combinations and exotics offered on request. Carbon steel connectors are coated with zinc or zinc-nickel to resist corrosion. Connectors are designed to national and international standards. Customisation for specific application requirements is available.
The connector is crimped onto the hose on an electronic hose crimping machine, after the hose end has been cut to length and deburred; on metallic hose it is welded or brazed instead. Connectors are tested to customer requirement — salt spray, plating, cyclic opening and closing, and leakage —every finished assembly is leak tested on a Maximator hose test
