Rubber Hose EN 853
Steel wire braid hydraulic hose to EN 853 in 1SN, 2SN, 1ST and 2ST types, for medium pressure hydraulic, coolant, water and air lines.

Hoses & Hose Connectors
Rubber Hose EN 853
EN 853 is the workhorse of the rubber hose range: a synthetic rubber core resistant to mineral and vegetable oil based hydraulic fluids, high tensile steel wire braid over it, and a wear resistant synthetic rubber cover.
The 1SN type takes one layer of braid and the 2SN two, both to SAE J517-100R1AT / EN 853-1SN and 2SN / ISO 1436. The 1ST and 2ST types are built to SAE J517-100R1A / EN 853-1ST and 2ST with one and two layers of braid respectively. Working pressure across the four types runs from 10 to 415 bar; the published application band for petroleum and water based fluids is 10 to 250 bar. Continuous service temperature is 40°C to 100°C.
Hoses are quality checked at source and undergo the tests the customer specifies — burst, proof, leakage and impulse — witnessed by Fluid Controls inspectors or by a third party inspector.
