Rubber Hose EN 856
Four- and six-spiral steel wire hydraulic hose to EN 856 in 4SP, 4SH, R12 and R13 types, rated 165 to 450 bar.

Hoses & Hose Connectors
Rubber Hose EN 856
EN 856 is the high pressure end of the rubber range. Four high tensile steel wire spirals carry the 4SP, 4SH and R12 types; the R13 type takes four or six. Tube is synthetic rubber resistant to mineral and vegetable oil based hydraulic fluids, and the cover is weather and wear resistant synthetic rubber.
Working pressure runs from 165 to 450 bar, with the published application band for petroleum and water based fluids and hydraulic SAE oils at 140 to 450 bar. Continuous service temperature is 40°C to 120°C — widest of the rubber hoses. It is built to EN 856-4SP / ISO 3862 / SAE J517-R12 and specified for heavy off-road equipment such as cranes, mining plant, and for oil and gas service.
Hoses are quality checked at source and undergo customer specified tests — burst, proof, leakage and impulse — witnessed by Fluid Controls inspectors, third party inspector
